About Us

Inuka Women Foundation (IWF) is a grassroots organization founded in 2021 by two Women Human
Rights Defenders with a shared vision for social justice and healing, the foundation was born out of the
need to counteract stigma, inequality, and the systemic lack of access to justice and social services in
the Rwenzori region, western Uganda. Rooted in the principles of equity, inclusivity, and justice, IWF
strives to bridge the gaps in access to health services, justice, and social services for women and girls.
